Technical Evaluation

Project Management

Bespoke Programming
We work mainly with Access (2000, XP, 2003) and Visual Basic.Net. We write solutions that range from complete Order Processing systems to interfaces that take data from spreadsheets and accounts packages and turn it into Excel Pivot Tables. We write programs for stand alone PCs, Networks and for mobile devices based on Pocket PC (eg PDA's like the HP Ipaq and mobile phones). Please see the Client Projects page for examples of our work.

Office Productivity
Make your data work harder! We can improve productivity by writing -
- Macros for Word and Excel
- Populate Word templates with external data (ie customer name & address) by using Custom Properties
- Creating Office Smart Tags
- Custom Outlook forms and automatically populating Exchange public folders from application data - ie Contact lists
- Access data bases that integrate to Act and Sage - for example display all Sage open Sales and Purchase orders for an item in a time phased plan so that you can see future availability at a glance.
- Use calls to Microsoft Mappoint to automatically calculate drive time and distance.
- Bespoke reports from data held in other applications - we can often extend your investment in application software by linking it to additional data and functions.
Web Sites
We use ASP.Net to write interactive web sites for both Intranets and the Internet; that are accessible from DesktopPCs, PDAs and WAP phones . We can call on associates for Graphic Design skills.
Microsoft Share Point Team Services is included with Windows Server 2003 - let us configure and extend it in order to provide you with a comprehensive company Intranet.
